Well. Glad I got out today (relatively speaking; sorry to leave, except with the promise of seeing my little menagerie again--and all you wonderful people, too). Though it's a mixed blessing, when today turns out to be the day Air Canada "misplaces" all the Americans' checked baggage for over an hour, before we could even pass on to customs and security, causing me to miss my connection to Houston. I get a five-hour layover in Toronto!! Sigh. Tired. Very tired, and the day is still young.
